The Nike Air Griffey Max I has had a pretty good run. The sneaker is definitely far from forgotten but in carrying on the legacy Nike will be bringing back the Griffey Max II.
The Freshwater colorway is brought back for this release and it translates well to the updated model. The shoe looks a bit more hi-tech than its predecessor and everything from the lacing system to the checkered heel panel reflects that. The Freshwater coloring is in short supply but it’s honestly just enough to push this mainly Black/White design over the edge. These are set to drop in April.
