In addition to winning MVP in the Kobe VI All-Star editions this weekend at the All-Star game, Kobe was also honored at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre where he became the first athlete to have his hands and feet imprinted at the world-famous theatre. Usually this type of honor is only bestowed upon actors, and Jimmy Kimmel made sure he gave Kobe the blues about it by saying “Kobe’s biggest on-screen achievement to date had been guest starring on Moesha.”
With friends, family, and Laker executives on hand, Kobe wrote his name, imprinted his hands, and left imprints of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI Hollywood edition in the cement. Looking at the imprint, you can clearly see the outsole of the shoe, as well as the Kobe logo. Maybe after his retires from basketball he can start a career in acting. The Black Mamba was a good start!
