Ransom by adidas Originals Dune - Spring 2011

Ransom has collaborated with adidas Originals quite a few times over the years, usually using the Dune silhouette as a base. To start 2011 off right, the dynamic duo has teamed up again – releasing two new colorways of the Dune. A hybrid desert boot and sneaker, the Dune features a grown up construction with an urban attitude.

Originally done in suede, the Dune kicks down the door with a full grain leather upper. Available now in Burgundy and Black, the sneaker boot focuses on the intricate details. The heel tab is feathered with an embossed trefoil, sitting right above a bronze button. Both heels are stamped with the crossed-swords Reason logo, tied into the dual branded tongue. With a smooth leather upper, it was only right that Ransom and adidas switched up the midsole, giving it a little bit of texture.
