Yesterday, fans of the Los Angeles Lakers most famous lefty, Lamar Odom, made their way to the House of Hoops in Beverly Hills for a chance to grab a quick picture and get an autograph from the star. As expected, fans were lined up outside for hours with everything from old Lamar Clipper jerseys, to Laker flags for the star to sign.

I took a moment to stop by and check out the goings on in hopes of seeing some hot sneakers and to see how the fans respond to Lamar. Many of the fans were super excited to see the star as he had just come off of a great game the night before against the Utah Jazz, including this floater.

With wifey, Khloe, by his side, Lamar gave the fans just what they wanted. Some brought his new Hyperdunk PE for him to autograph, while others made it more personal and had him sign their phone, one person even had him autograph the t-shirt he was wearing. On the sneaker front, I saw lots of Laker inspired kicks, including a pair of Converse All-Star Chuck Taylors a fan brought for him to sign.

Oddly enough, the hot sneakers weren’t even a part of the show. While wandering around the store, I spotted @rob_melrose, who was keeping it thorough in the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “East LA, and the soundman for the Lamar and Khloe reality show was rocking the Black/Red Air Jordan 11s. Overall, the event was cool and it was good to see the fans get a chance to interact with Lamar. From babies to seniors, the Laker mojo is strong in Los Angeles, and the turnout yesterday proved it even more to me.
