The Nike Cortez has been around since 1972, making it one of the oldest silhouettes still in production. Constantly evolving, the Cortez has undergone several design changes, as well as branched out to include the Senorita Cortez and successful Nike iD line.
This Spring, Nike has prepared this Challenge Red and White Cortez Light. Covered in nylon, the sneaker is lighter than the original, keeping you nearly weightless while running. Suede patches are found on the the heel cup, toe box and eyestay, color-matched to keep the design streamlined.
