Fans of Derrick Rose will be able to bring in St. Patrick’s Day in style this year as the addidas plans to release a special green make-up of the adiZero 1.5 for the day. Considering that Chicago always makes St. Patty’s day a big deal by dying the Chicago River green for the day, these will it right in.
A green tonal upper dominate the design on both the suede and the mesh panels on the side. Additional green can be found over the heel cup as well as the mudguard. White plays a crucial part in the design also and is displayed on the outsole and the toe box. Finally, the numbers “06 26 2008″ are displayed on a shamrock and represent the day that Derrick was drafted. Look for these to hit retail on March 15.
