If you haven’t heard of Mehmet Okur, you might want to hit Google, and do a little search to get yourself up to speed. The Utah Jazz center hails from Turkey and is a problem down in the post.
Seen here is a special PE created for Mehmet created by Nike using the Nike Shox BB, a favorite of Vince Carter. The model integrates the blue Jazz color on the rear midsole, as well as the outline of the Nike Swoosh. The forefoot is based in black, but eventually gives way to an emerald green side panel that matches the show’s liner. PE detailing revolves around Okur’s “MEMO” nickname embroidered on the tongue.
