It is not very often that Black History Month gets a shoe dedicated to it, but it appears that Kobe has done just that with a special edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, dubbed the “BHM” Black History Month. The model resembles the Del Sol Nike Zoom Kobe VI that released over the Christmas holiday 2010.
Featured are a mostly black upper that is accented with gold highlights over the Nike Swoosh and heel cup. Gold returns on the rear of the outsole, but quickly turns to dark grey to add a change of pace for the sneaker. Additional detailing include a specialized interlocking “BHM” on the lateral heel. Considering Black History Month is in February, we expect these to drop in the near future.
