Over the summer, Under Armour was able to get Greivis Vasquez, the 28th overall pick in the NBA draft, to sign an exclusive deal with the company. Though a signature shoe has yet to hit the market for the Venezuelan-born player, he has been granted a PE of the Under Armour Prototype I.
Seen here in a variety of colorways, the models all have a few things in common. First, they all pay tribute to his Venezuelan roots with the country’s flag on the tongue lace keeper and the heel pull tab. Each pair also sports the number “21″ on the lateral heel. Finally, each pair also has the words “Venezuela’s Finest” embroidered on the tongue. Look for these on Vazquez’s feet as he helps the Memphis Grizzlies.
