While not exactly sneaker related, Michael Jordan has finally taken the time to accept the invitation to his home state’s Hall of fame. Unlike most of us that would have jumped out of our seats when we received our invitation, Michael waited 17 years. Originally inducted in 1993 to the 274-member hall, it wasn’t until last night until he actually accepted the invitation. With Dean Smith by his side, Jordan was quoted saying “”Every time I put on that uniform, North Carolina, Chicago, even Washington, I knew I represented my state, the people of North Carolina,” Jordan said to a cheering crowd. “Thank you, Charlotte. Thank you, North Carolina.”
Hey Nike, how about a NC Hall of Fame Air Jordan 2010?
