It’s really cool when you see time honored American institutions like Garfield teaming up with hot new brands like The Hundreds. If anything it lets us know that Jim Davis is on the pulse of the youth and knows that great art can be made through collaboration.
The Johnson Mid is already a great looking casual kick regardless to what colorway is applied and in the name of keeping things subtle they didn’t assume any wacky stripes to mimic the famous feline. The sneaker maintains a black suede upper with yellow piping and laces but one glance at the insole lets you know where the inspiration went as the shoe houses sketches of Garfield and the brands Adam Bomb logo interacting. If you wanna know how the conversation between the two characters went we’d suggest buying a pair of the shoes.
