Unlike most sports, skateboarding refuses to be defined by anything other than the act of skateboarding. The same train of thoughts applies to sneakers created for skateboarding. The video above, directed by Kahlil Josep, is visual narrative to the sounds of synths, nature, and the human voice. Created to promote the upcoming collaboration between Vans and Luke Meier, the film is definitely a lot more artistic than you typical sneaker collaboration video.
