Daniel Reese has been known around the sneaker community for the custom Nike SB’s that he has produced, including his Comic Book pack and the Google SBs. Adding a little bit of variety to his repertoire, Reese opts for a set of adidas Superstars this time around, taking inspiration from two of 2011 biggest internet players; Facebook and Twitter.
The Facebook Superstars are done in the popular Blue and White colorway used on the website, with hints of cream seen throughout. Along the heel the FaceBook logo is seen, as well as two other Facebook slogans beneath the collar. On the tongue you will find the adidas trefoil, remixed to include the FaceBook logo as well.
The Twitter versions are a bit more lowkey, using the branded color scheme just as seen on the FaceBook pair. The Sea Foam Green and White is used all over the upper, with color matched laces and dual toned mid-panel. On the heel sits the popular Twitter birdie, which is the only branding seen throughout the kicks. via SR
