We recently showed you the patents filed by Nike and Tinker Hatfield for the Nike Air Mag and its automagical lacing system. Well today, our good friends at Gawker.tv found something very similar on Good Morning America. The clip shows Blake Bevin, the inventor of Insta-Laces demonstrating the shoe for the cast. With humble beginnings as a Hotel Manager, Blake created the shoe for her Grandmother who has Parkinsons disease.

Black has started a project over at KickStarter to help fund the research into finishing the shoe. You can donate as little as $5, or as much as $250. Either way, we are getting closer and closer to not even having to tie our own shoes. [Gawker.tv]
