While we love a nice set of crisp pictures when it comes to new shoes nothing beats a first look at shoes no matter how you have to get em. In that case the camera-phone shots far outweigh anything done with a paid photographer.

So when the guys at SSL got a chance to let loose on the newest WTAPS x Vans Syndicate collaboration they definitely did the right thing and brought the world the goods. The shoes look to be a take on the classic Dr. Martens style with maroon or black leather being bound to a deep gum outsole and yellow stripes above them. The shoes also feature ribbons on the heel tab for an extra touch of personality. No word on release but they are definitely dope.
