Harold Hunter is a hero. More than a mere skater the man embodied the spirit of youth, athleticism and more importantly NYC and his legacy will not be forgotten. In honor of keeping his name alive and continuing to inspire the masses DVS has teamed up with the Harold Hunter Foundation to release a few silhouettes that pay proper tribute and benefit his foundation. As the press release says:
In Harold’s tradition of inspiring community through positivity and friendship, the Harold Hunter Foundation aims to empower inner city youth through skateboarding and scholarships that nurture individuality and creativity. DVS shares this vision and is proud to stand behind the Harold Hunter Foundation with this limited collaboration project. Proceeds from the sale of the HHF Team Series go direct to the Harold Hunter Foundation. “Harold was the first person I met in NYC back in 92’ during a Blind tour,” says Podium VP Tim Gavin. “He took care of us right from the start. He’s always been a NY legend and a good person. I’m stoked to carry on his legacy and support his foundation.”
