The Li-Ning Outfield is a sneaker that came out of nowhere that seems to have several different options as far as fashion and function. As an athletic shoe, it looks like it is made for the baseball field and the basketball court. From a fashion perspective, the shoe uses neon to grab your attention, bu also breaks up the monotony by slices the leather upper into several distinct panels. However, things don’t stop their, as a Michelin Man sits on the lateral ankle. with no apparent tie-in, we are left to guess at the reason for the fat boys presence. Li-Ning is clearly looking to break the mold, win or lose, with the Outfield.
