A special version of the Asics Gel -Lyte III dubbed “Alvin the Purple” will be released in collaboration with Sneaker Freaker. The collaboration takes a fairly simple approach to the shoe design and trust that the bright purple will carry the silhouette. A mixture of black suede and nylon cover the upper, while hints of white and grey cover the outsole. The purple plays a strong accent color and is located on the branding, liner, and parts of the lace stays. Look for these to drop on October 1. More more info on the sneaker can be found here.
