Dr. Romanelli x Converse “Born in the USA” All Star Chuck Taylor Cupsole

There are always versions of the Chuck Taylor that pop up that really strike you with a certain quality and craftmanship that surpasses all those that come before it. Today we may just be looking at a version of the shoe that does just that. Created by Dr. Romanelli, the All Star Chuck Taylor features a beautiful cupsole that captures the classic feel of the original. Dubbed the “Born in the USA” collection, the model features a duck canvas decorated in either a “Stars and Stripes” print in full color or in a matte black. In addition to the upper, the shoes feature specially made bald eagle insoles. They will be available at Offspring including Selfridges on September 15th, 2010.
