Jordan Brand created the Air Jordan 2010 “W3lcome Home” for Dwayne Wade back in May as a tribute to his home town of Chicago. Most recently, they have taken the Air Jordan Alpha 1 and given it the same sort of treatment.
The sneakers sports a colorway of Red/White, which is also identical to the colorway on the Air Jordan 2010. White perforated leather takes up residence on the toe and forefoot, while red perforated leather takes up the side panel and heel. Black accents are found throughout the design including the branding and the liner. As an ode to the W3lcome Home collection, the words “W3lcome” can be found on the left insole, and the word “Home” can be found on the right insole. They are now available at select retailers overseas; however, it should soon surface stateside soon.
