Nike opted to give its Zoom KD III a whole new look. Breaking the mold that the KD II set was more difficult than simply removing the midfoot strap and slapping some Zoom in the sole. These things are a whole new shoe.
This early sneak peak shows a shoe that has been stripped down of its bulky upper in an effort to reduce weight. Flywire and mesh make the side panel both more breathable and lighter. The sole has been beefed up a bit also while KD’s logo finds itself landing on the tongue to round the design out.
