La MJC let slip some images of his latest collaboration with Lacaoste. The shoe of choice is the Lacoste Braodwick, and La MJC does a number on it to get it ready for the summer.
The first thing you notice about the sneaker is the monogram ship embroidery on the upper which is a play off of Broadwick, a small street in Soho with a view of the docks. Colorwise, the embroidery is in a red tone, while the base sits in a blue and white stripped colorway. Leather accents can be found on the heel stripe as well as the tongue that reads “Fluctuat nee mergitur” which roughly translates into “it floats but does not sink”. Look for these at colette and at at Solemart Paris 2010 on July 4th, limited to 75 pairs.
