Custom Kicks – Dichroic Color Shift x Vans Sk8-Hi by theMenace

Continuing his approach of using rare and unique materials in footwear, theMenace has created a version of the Vans Sk8-Hi that will definitely turn a few heads. The sneakers, limited to only 3 pairs, was design to showcased trends theMenace had noticed in the automotive industry.

As seen it the images, the Sk8-Hi features a crocodile embossed dichroic color shifting skin and a soft grain black leather body. The color shifting skin extends from the toe box into the lace stays, tongue and parts of the quarter panel. The material also pops up on the heel and reaches into the ankle piece. The remainder of the sneaker is black leather complimented with patent leather accents and white contrast stitching. As previously mentioned, the sneakers are limited to only 3 pairs and area available now via www.iamtheMenace.com.

    what was your point in taking a shot my way by saying nothing to wow at? its no secret that i just like anyone can purchase various materials on different websites, however us customizers pride ourselves in the complete process involved and actually create pieces of art to be appreciated instead of taking shots at people who work hard day and night to make perfect their craft.
