I remember how excited I was when I got to watch the Dream Team play. I also remember thinking that I would be there one way play with them. That obviously didn’t happen, but that does not stop me from living the dream through sneakers. Marqueesole has been able to acquire a few pairs of the Nike Zoom Kobe V USA Team Basketball for the upcoming FIBA World Basketball Championship.

Sporting the American colors of red, white, and blue, the sneaker does vary much from the original Kobe V design wise. The Flywire panel is all white with a blue Nike Swoosh outlined in red layered over it. Navy blue is used for the lace stays as well as for the heel and parts of the outsole. Red pops up again on the lining as well as parts of the tongue. We can only hope these will hit retail, but as of now you can grab a pair at marqueesole.
