All things considered, the Nike Huarache is having a good year. We have seen it as a a PE for Trevor Ariza, as well as word that the original Huarache will be dropping this holiday season. Up next, we get a look at a sample pair of Nike Huarache 2k4s.
Set in a Los Angeles Laker colorway of black/canyon gold-varsity purple, it is obvious that the inspiration for these is Kobe Bryant. The upper is constructed of black suede and accented with elephant print on the to and heel. A yellow Nike Swoosh is outline in purple and matches the midsole and outsole perfectly. As if there were any question that these were Kobe inspired, his Sheath logo appears on the rear medial panels. As a final touch the word “VIVO”, Latin for “I live, is stitched on the heel counter. As with most samples we see, these were never released.
