The Lakers are in a bit of a bind right now, so I am sure Kobe is not worried about anything but stopping Kevin Durant from scoring like he owns the basket. In the meantime, Nike is set to release the Zoom Kobe V in a black/dark grey/varsity purple colorway this summer.
The new colorway doesn’t stray too far from the usual offerings we see from the Kobe V. The upper is dominantly black with grey piecing all around the shoe including the toe box and lace stays. Dark grey can be found on the Nike Swoosh and on the Kobe logo on the tongue. Varsity purple is reserved in its approach and only appears on Kobe’s signature on the heel and on the bottom of the outsole. Look for these to hit retail accounts in July.
