Reebok Mens Easytone Stride – White/Ultramarine/Pure Silver-Black

Reebok and a few other manufactures are on a kick to introduce toning sneakers into the public. The most recent is set to be used by men and has hit the web in a white/ultramarine/pure silver-black colorway.

The sneaker features two inflatable balance pods underfoot that transfer air between each other during the foot strike process, engaging leg muscles to counter the slightly unstable feel. Reebok states the Easytone Stride increases muscle activation by up to 28% in the glutes, 11% in the hamstrings, and 11% in the calves. All this technology is wrapped in a synthetic leather/mesh upper with a primarily white color with black and blue accents. They sneaker is available now at Zappos.

    They certainly didn’t hang around long before releasing a male edition. I can see them taking off with the IT crowd. They’re ideal for people looking to get in a bit of extra workout without the time investment.

    I hear Reebok are planning on releasing several editions for both men and women – designed for different uses – running, training, walking, cross-trainer.

    In years to come the “air pad” technology will be commonplace across the board. But for the time being it looks like Reebok are still leading the way… Go Reebok!
