As we all know, Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2010 Playoffs, so there might be some confusion as to the inspiration behind this pair of Nike KD II (2)’s. The shoes feature a black leather upper, along with purple, gold, and white accenting, colors reminiscent of the Lakers. But in fact, these are inspired by the PG Jaguars, the AAU team for which Durant played for years ago. We believe Nike is toying with us, having these surface at this particular moment.
