To celebrate the upcoming Boston Marathon weekend, New Balance conjured up a customized version of the U.S. manufactured 993. The colorway is inspired by the race, sporting a black suede upper along with lime contrast stitching for the men’s version, while blue contrast stitching graces the women’s shoe. The heels feature the words Run Bos, while NBoston is seen on the tongue. The shoes are limited to 72 pairs, 36 for men and 36 for women. They will be sold exclusively at Tanning starting Friday, April 16, 2010.
