Mike Norris of Break Your Neck Urban Customs on Melrose in Los Angeles has worked on a lot of different sneakers projects. From Abbey Roads to Marvel Comics, he has pretty much done it all. His latest creations come courtesy of the Wu-Tang Clan’s Wu Massacre group consisting of Method Man, Raekwon the Chef, and Ghostface. Mike took a pair of Nike Blazers and flipped them to include all three of the album covers released with the Wu Massacre record.
From the images alone we can see the detail put into the customization. Mike hand painted the entire design and reproduced the album covers exactly. The left shoe displays the Method Man cover on the lateral side while the medial side sports the Raekwon inspired cover. The right shoe sports the lavish Ghostface cover on the lateral side, with the medial side is reserved for some Def Jam and Wu-Tang inspired embellishments. Mike’s attention to detail is incredible. Add that to his personal artistic style, and you end up will an amazing pair of custom sneakers. As these are a one of one, they are not for sale.
