Artists find inspiration in some of the strangest place. However, the end product is usually unique and pushes the envelope just enough to open up our minds. Artist Todd Bratrud has taken that exact approach on a pair of Nike Hi Dunks, dubbed “Skunk”.
The shoe features a multiple shades of green through0ut the upper and are complimented by a purple Nike Swoosh. The midsole is also a shade of green, while the outsole finishes the design in purple. The most striking aspect of the shoe is the textured material used on the upper. They look to constructed of an unfinished or frayed suede that give the shoe an almost grass-like look. The insole is blue with a green skunk, thus the name of the shoe. Look for these to hit at Quickstrike accounts in April.
