Before Rick Ross started calling himself “The Boss”, the real boss was none other than the legendary, Bruce Springsteen. With a career that started way back in 1972, Nike has put together a special Nike SB Dunk Hi in tribute to “The Boss”.
Using the colors of the American flag for the ankle collar, it is clear that inspiration for these shoes came from Bruce’s album “Born in the USA“. The remainder of the upper is dressed in a combination of denim and leather. A white toe box that transitions up through the tongue and a red Nike Swoosh over a blue mid-panel help drive home the “Born in the USA” album cover influence. Rumor has it that these will release at a QuickStrike at New Jersey Skateshop first later this year.
