It seems like more and more tv/film studios are hooking up with shoe brands for limited edition shoes. The latest is a collaboration between Vans and the movie Kick Ass by Michael Vaughn. The shoes, a pair of Vans slip-ons, are inspired by the superhero costume of actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
The upper is done up in green with the Kick Ass logo randomly printed over the mid panel up through the ankle and heel. The base of the shoe is a white outsole that is only interrupted by a thin green stripe. Only 100 of the shoes were created, and each was signed over the weekend by the cast of the film at the store in Austin. Not sure how you get a pair, as they will not be sold. They will probably be used for Charity are given away in some movie contest.
