The Onitsuka Tiger’s Lay Up 72 was one of the first sneakers to combine both nylon and vulcanized production. Originally released almost 40 years ago, the Lay Up 72 will be staging its come back in Spring 2010. Seen here in orange, blue, and red colorways, the design doesn’t stray far from the original. Similar to the legendary Chuck Taylor, the branding is reserved for the tongue, the ankle, and heel tag, while the sole is capped off with a rubber toe box.
