In general, a shoe with pink in it has to be pretty nice for me to consider copping it. Not that I have anything against wearing pink or people who wear pink, it just doesn’t catch my eye. However, I like what Mizuno has done with the revamped 2010 STARSTREAM 5.
The brand is using the concept of “Life and Earth”, and has gone as far as incorporating eco-friendly materials into the design and construction process. The upper is all black with polka-dotted pieces throughout. The outsole is actually constructed of recycled bottles and sports a bright pink color that matches the shoes lining. The final touch is a black and white midsole that bring together the entire polka-dotted design.
