adidas Originals Blue Label Collection A.039

Instead of just releasing a new shoe line for Spring/Summer 2010, adidas Originals is opting for a label collection named “Originals A.039”. The name “Originals A.039” is taken from an internal code for the Originals blue color. The focus of the brand will revolve around apparel with footwear following at a close second. Of course all we care about over here at KicksOnFIre are the shoes. LOL

We have posted a few items from the A.039 line but this is the first glance we get at the Fat Lace Highs. Like the rest of the items we have seen, the focus seems to be on a simple designs that escapes being ordinary. The all leather upper is complimented by a medium width outsole. The lace eyelets are extra thick and allow for the old school fat laces made famous by RUN DMC. In the images above we also get a glimpse of a green low top sneaker which we have yet to identify.
