It seems like the Zoom Kobe V Hornets came out of nowhere. When we saw them last week, I think everybody here fell in love a little bit. I mean sporting that white upper with matching Flywire panels and the turquoise accenting touched with a bit or purple, whats not to like? Well if you are checking for these like we are, we have a bit of news for you. Foot Locker Unlocked has announced that they will be releasing the colorway made in celebration of the original team that drafted Kobe, in May at Foot Locker locations and online. We don’t have an exact date, but at least we have the month now.
The upper is mostly white, with a reptile textured orion blue swoosh on the lateral side. This same texture is seen again on the blue section of the tongue. The translucent blue outsole with its heart-monitor traction has opaque purple piecing in the forefoot, with a purple Kobe logo on the heel. The laces are purple with blue dots, a pattern seen on a lot of Kobe V laces.
