On Monday we got a glimpse of the Special Edition adiGames ZX 500 from adidas Originals that came with a special video game in the packaging, today, we present the ZX 500 in a new a green/white colorway. Originally released in 1984 as a high mileage runner, the ZX 500 has stood the test of time and is back for more this season.
Featuring a combination of nylon mesh and suede reinforcements on the upper, the runner blends the need for both breath-ability and minimal weight in a streamlined package. The upper shines is mostly white with spearmint green coming to rest on the 3-Stripes, heel tab, and tongue. Accents of grey are also present throughout the design and serve as a transition between the green and white. A black lining, outsole, and midsole piece, bring together the matching black laceholes and provide the ZX 500 with a unique balance in color. Finally white leather pieces on the front and perforated pieces on the heel help balance the mesh pieces shown in the toe box.
