It took me a while to get used ot the idea of a low top basketball shoe, but the more I look at the Zoom Kobe V, the more I think I might try a pair out. Considering I am a Laker fan, there would be no better time than in April when the Kobe V Home is released at Foot Locker.

Like the rest of the Kobe V line, these are the lowest and lightest shoes in the game. The upper sports a white pearl-like finish with natural grey pieces in the mid-panel and the toe box. The ankle collar is dressed in del sol as well as the Nike Swoosh and the Kobe logo on the tongue. The midsole is white with touches of black while the outsole sports a white rear and a purple front with del sol accents. We don’t have a solid date, but expect them to hit Foot Locker and FootLocker.com in April.

These are dope. Kobe’s shoe came out right, and it’s easy to see the huge influence f/the Mercurial Vapor Superfly’s and the Vapor tennis shoes. To be honest though, I know this sounds weird, but that fat forefoot makes these look like a slow pair of shoes. I’d rather ball in those new CP3′s, though I’m a big fan of balling in lows. I love the pearl blocking on these, though.

Simple but nice. . Will there be releasing Carpe Diem? Anyway, I don’t think there would be better cw than “Away”. I love my Kobe V.=)
