New Balance is once again pushing the limits of design and innovation with the reinvented silhouette of the New Balance 574 for Spring 2010. Seen here in two colorways, black/gold and green/yellow, the new design incorporates premium materials into creating a sleeker,lighter, and fashionable design.
The brainchild of New Balance’s Creative Directors, Savania Davies-Keiller and Roberto Crivello, the 574 utilizes full grain and pigskin leathers, buttery suedes and metal mono-mesh for the uppers. In addition to the premium materials, several technology related enhancements have been made to the shoe. An Encap midsole constructed of polyurethane, a full strobel-lasted footbed, lowered EVA and rubber durometers, a layer of Abzorb for maximum cushioning, and a high density PU foam sockliner, all contribute to the updated 574. The 574 will be available in select retailers, such as Zappos.com this Spring.
