Mr. Cartoon is one of the reason that L.A. street culture was able to break into the mainstream. Starting as a tattoo artist, he soon broke into fashion and hooked up with Nike to create some of the most unique shoe collaboration around. Feeling like they have a good thing going, NSW asked him to put together a pack for the Team USA Soccer team for this years World Cup.
The packs uses a black/white/grey colorway and sports the Air Zoom Tiempo and the Air Footscape Freemotion. The Tiempo is based in black leather and suede and sits on a black outsole, while the Footscape uses a black upper and a white midsole. The rest of the pack are all clothing pieces and sport Cartoons signature tattoo like designs throughout. One of the more interesting pieces is a t-shirt that sports Cartoon’s version of the American Bald Eagle.
