For those of us wondering what exactly the “Try-On” series is about over at Nike they represent the shoes that you can try on prior to designing your own at the Nike iD studio.

The shoe is done in a tonal grey upper thanks to the mesh and nubuck used throughout while splattered suede accents touch the forefoot, heel and ankle eyelet. Slight 3M accenting can be found on the swoosh and ankle collaring to make this shoe simple as ever but largely effective while its at it. Via Nicekicks

    Speckles have ruined it!

  • what?

too plain w/o the speckles…adds depth.

but then again, all the nike “try-on”s have a plain and simple c/w.

It’s cool to see the “real world” look with your customization.
