Converse’s typical canvas upper is not really geared toward the skate crowd. However, the CONS skateline is looking to bridge that gap with a taste of the classic converse styling mixed in.
Here we have a black perforated leather upper styled like the classic Chuck Taylor. Converse decided to throw in a padded double ankle collar for added support and protection as well as thicker tongue and shorter toe box. The “Star” is done up in leather and fits nicely with the black stripe that come standard on the Chuck Taylor. For a premium touch, wax laces have been added to blend with the black lace eyelets. They are available now at Atlas.
