Nike has taken the “all black everything” approach to this pair of Nike Zoom Kobe 5 (V)’s, which has been dubbed the Blackouts. They sport a predominantly black upper along with gunmetal grey accenting, including the toe guard and eyestay. A small portion of the outsole, as well as the black mamba logo, sport a purple design, but will rarely ever be seen. The shoe also sports Nike patented flywire technology, which is covered by the use of dark hues, making it difficult to view.
