Vans Syndicate “Andy Kessler” Pack

Last Fall, the skating world lost a legend in Andy Kessler. Vans Syndicate has designed two shoes for the Spring 2010 collection that are in his memory.

Using black leather and suede for the uppers, the Old Skool “S” and the SK8-Hi “S” models were both made with Outlast materials to maximize protection and ventilation. While leather is used for the toe box, lace stays, and heel, suede is used on the rest of the shoe. Both use a perforated ankle collar and tongue to promote ventilation and sit on an all white outsole. Finally. to tie everything together, white is used for the lining and the stitching throughout both pairs of kicks. Throw in a pair of blue laces and the “AK” logo patch on the insole, you have yourself a pair of solid skate shoes; in memoriam.
