Augmented reality is the new trend and addidas has joined the fray. There new line of sneakers, the adidas Originals Game Pack, will feature tongues with AR markers. The AR makers will allows the shoes to act as controllers in a virtual version of the adidas Originals neighborhood. The shoe brand plans on launching a new game/virtual neighborhood each month starting in February.
The collection consist of 5 pairs of shoes, all in a solid colorway; red, white, brown, yellow, and blue. The adidas Originals site for the virtual world launches on February 10 and the shoes will be available exclusively through Champs stores and Eastbay.
