gatorade

Next week, KickOnFire is headed to South Beach for the Super Bowl. While we are in Miami, we will get a chance to see the Gatorade Performance Tests first hand. In case you haven’t been watching sports that last few weeks, the Gatorade Performance lab features scientists conducting performance tests on athletes like Eli Manning, Tony Gonzalez, Maurice Jones-Drew and others. During Super Bowl weekend, Gatorade will have a “mobile” lab and give KicksOnFire a first hand look at how the body functions during activity.. During the testing they’ll be using Gatorade’s new sports drink that is set to be released this Spring called G Series. The drink was developed for use before, during and after workouts and games. The first test begins at 8:00AM ET on Monday and you can watch it at uStream.tv/gstream. They have several athletes planned for the week, so stay tuned to the GStream channel for more information. We will be there on the scene to bring you exclusive coverage. We wonder how many athlete sneakerheads we’re going to meet…? If you have any questions for the athletes, post them in the comments and we will try and get them answered!

i doubt Gatorade really works more efficiently than plain water.

40 years later and we still got someone who doubts Gatorade?? lol

Nope. It does. Too much water can cause “water intoxication” (and not the fun intoxication either) and I was put on a series of medications following ovarian cancer (I’m good now, thanks) that made me very dehydrated. As in “I can poo once a week” dehydrated, and water wasn’t quenching my thirst and I was still cramped. My doc recommended Gatorade, but I run a fitness website and went for G2 instead and the soreness was gone in a week.

So there, Andrew. Nee ner nee ner ;)

If you tune into that testing Tuesday at 8, you’ll see me. Yes, I’m a part of it but I wrote about gatorade and Propel waters before I was offered this and I can back up my statements, because I see a buttload of doctors and they all insist on G2.

Those are straight sexy! I adore Nike Dunks. They are so fly and I want to get some of those for my kid. Maybe I can spring them on her as a late christmas gift. Keep up the great work. Excellent post!

    Ha!

Gatorade was backed by hype which brainwashed everyone into thinking it was the shit.

remember that there’s still sugar in that suff and i really dont think yall know what “electrolites” really mean.
and if you say “it has vitamins tho!” do you even know what vitamins do?
grow a stem and know what you’re putting into your bodies first.
