Before you even think to type down there in the comment box, lets try and keep it cordial. With that said, I would like to give you a peek at Reebok’s new ultra-lite sole set to roll out sometime this year. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information available, but this is what we do know; the sole is part of Reebok’s attempt at creating the lightest and most cushioned outsole. They are reportedly a part of Reebok’s Ultra-lite runners series.

From these images, you see that they currently available in yellow and red and have a wavy appearance. So wavy that in some pics you can actually see through to the other side. Y’all stay tuned and we will let you know as more information becomes available.

I don’t know that I’d wear these, but I really give reebok some credit for trying something new.

  • Foxmulder

They look like they be a good gym shoe but probably not recommended that folks try and style with them.

IS REEBOK TRYING TO COPY NIKE FREE TECHNOLOGY?

These look like someone stepped in Sponge Bob’s shit. Innovative. Horrid. Trying something new should not be given creedence for its own sake. It should be the standard with retro projects as the anomoly. Results are what matter. These make Sketchers or those curved sole health shoes look good.

hmm, i don’t really think we know enough about ‘em to just write them off just yet. for all we know, they could be the next big thing in shoe tech and the looks could just be secondary – form following function. and nike’s free shoes were pretty radical in their time, right?

and reebok’s had other strange looking sole designs in the past, i remember this one packable shoe they had from some years back that could be rolled up… that was pretty different too

Reebok’s got a hit on their hands. These are gonna blow up, but it really depends how they price them. If they price them cheaper than Nike’s Lunar line, people will get these instead of the Lunars. They’re the same sort of idea – wacky foam sole that promises to be light, fast, and grab people’s attention.
