The NBA All-Star game is on February 14 in the great state of Texas. Mr. Bryant, will be making his appearance in a brand new colorway for the NIke Zoom Kobe V, which according to an imaginary fireman, are “too hot!”
Still using the red/black color scheme of the Western All-Star jersey, the Kobe V sports a bright red upper with a wood-grain imprint on the toe cap and eyestay. Nike and Kobe decided to use black on the midsole, laces, liner, and heel counter. The clear outsole uses the same heartbeat-patterned found on all of the Kobe Vs. As a finishing touch, Nike marks the shoe as an All-Star exclusive with a patch on the heel of the insole. The patch displays Kobe’s name, conference, nickname (”The Black Mamba”), the year, and the words “Three X MVP.” These will hit House of Hoops locations and select Foot Lockers on February 12th, 2010.
