Desert Boot by adidas Originals 2010
Making a desert boot has been the trend as of late. We saw plenty of these in 2009 and only a few were actually memorable. Trending toward a simplistic design, adidas originals has managed to take hold of the genre and make it their own.
Designed in three different colorways; Tan, Black, and Blue/White. Both the tan and the black colorway use a conventional soft suede riding on top of a tonal outsole. While the tan uses matching stitching, the black is accented just a bit with what appears to be flat black stitching. As for the blue/white, it uses the same soft suede for the uppers, but adds in a sportier vinyl tongue and toe box sitting on top of a white outsole. All three shoes are branded through perforated stripes on the medial and lateral sides as well as the adidas logo on the rear of the outsole. [via SF]
